Dear Bride & Groom To Be!!
Andy and I have been together for 17 months and we’ve now decided to take the (appropriately named) plunge and tie the proverbial knot! Read my diary, as I tell you how planning the big day can, so very easily, turn into something like a military operation!
As I start to plan all aspects of our day, follow me through finding out exactly what it takes to plan a wedding. Get ready for lots of lists, endless phone calls, and no doubt a few tears and tantrums along the way……..
Some couples may want to consider a pre-nuptial agreement if one party has considerably more assets than the other. A pre-nup may seem a little unromantic, but does help focus the mind on the seriousness of your commitment to each other.
The average cost of a wedding is now in the region of £15,000, so it makes sense to think about wedding insurance should the very worst happen and something goes wrong to spoil your Big Day.
I found choosing wedding suppliers quite a daunting task. There's a huge selection out there, but in the end it's all down to your own particular taste and budget. You'll see which suppliers I have chosen marked as 'Kate's Choice’; however, there are lots of other suppliers that I really liked too. It all depends on the style of wedding you're after, the supplier you 'click' with and how much you want to spend.
