Christchurch borders the New Forest and is a unique combination of fascinating heritage, beautiful coastline, peaceful rivers and a spectacular natural harbour.
The quaint town with cobbled streets has a good selection of independent and multiple shops, as well as an outstanding selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Tourist Information can be found in Christchurch.
Christchurch can be accessed from the A35 and is close to Bournemouth. There is also a main line station with services to Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Southampton and Waterloo.
Christchurch Priory is a beautiful church dominating the skyline, yet tucked away in a quiet corner overlooking both the Rivers Stour and Avon. It is reputed to be the longest parish church in England.
