BURLEY.

Sitting amidst some of the most attractive natural countryside in the New Forest  National Park and surrounded by open heath land, Burley with its constantly changing seasonal landscape and open Forest, make the setting for Burley one of the most photographed in the Forest.

Burley in the new forest is infamous for its connections with smugglers and its very own Burley witch, evidence of which can be found in the many craft and gift shops that can be found in the village. New Forest Tourist Information can be found at Lyndhurst, Lymington and Ringwood.  Burley also boasts a delightful new forest hotel complete with its own deer park.

There are also many New Forst  cycle routes in and around Burley and a cycle hire shop

The attractive village with it’s thatched cottages, ponies and cattle that freely roam in and around the village, and old Forest craft shops, have ensured that Burley has remained untouched by time.
