The New Forest Tour is back!

This ideal way for your guests to see the Forest returns this Saturday (19 June) and runs until mid-September.

Running seven days a week and travelling in a circular route, the two open-top buses start simultaneously at 10.15am at Lyndhurst main car park and Beaulieu village, travelling in an anti-clockwise route taking in Hollands Wood camp site, Brockenhurst rail station, Lymington High Street (Waitrose on Saturdays), Lymington Gosport Street, Lymington Pier, Beaulieu Motor Musueum, Beaulieu village, Exbury Gardens, Beaulieu Road rail station and Denny Wood camp site. The last departure from Lyndhurst is at 5.15pm, terminating at Beaulieu village at 6.15pm.

The motivation for this project, which currently relies on subsidy, is to get visitors out of their cars and on to public transport such as The New Forest Tour. With future public sector spending under close scrutiny, this Summer season is vital in demonstrating that the Tour can stand on its own two feet.

Working in partnership with local bus operators, passengers may purchase New Forest Tour tickets from buses on the routes below* including free travel to Tour stops at no extra cost, making this a real bargain and a unique day out in the Forest without the car!

Tickets cost £9 per adult (children aged 5-15 half-price) with a group of up to 5 people travelling together for £22.50 and are available at Lyndhurst and Lymington Visitor Information Centres and the Local Information Points at Beaulieu, Brockenhurst and Sway

The Tour operates hourly and passengers can literally hop on, hop off all day and see more, explore more and, most importantly, enjoy more!
