On Sunday 26^th June at Old Sarum airfield near Salisbury, in perfect weather conditions nine ‘volunteers’ skydived 7000 feet out of a light aircraft for a tandem parachute jump on behalf of the British Liver Trust, whose headquarters are based in Ringwood.  Over £8,000 was raised for the charity.

Jo Barker who organized the charity jump even arranged for  a TFT therapist to be present to help those who were nervous or fearful of jumping.  Those skydiving included  a woman who had received a liver transplant and someone else who was celebrating her 60^th birthday.
