                                                                                          A self contained, (completely refurbished), little cottage, nestled in the woods of the beautiful New Forest.  Actually situated on the Avon Valley Path, it is a walker's paradise - without even having to get in the car to enjoy it! Great for dogs too, which is why here at Avon Vale, we make them very welcome!

Although in a rural position, the well stocked and very reasonably priced village shop is only a 7 minute walk, as is the village pub - 'The Horse & Groom' - which does excellent food, and is dog friendly!     Woodgreen is on the quieter side of the Forest, where there is much less traffic. In the summer months, as is the case in any architypal village, cricket is played on the village green.
