Liquid Logistics are a New Forest based Activity Company, who offers a whole range of outdoor activities, whilst specialising in canoeing and kayaking. Ralph Montagu is officiating at the public opening of their new information and booking centre in Beaulieu village, in the New Forest on Good Friday, 21st March 2008. Activities are set to begin at 10am with everyone welcome to come and take part. These include 15 minute long free ‘taster’ canoe experiences on the river Beaulieu. There are also expected to be several ‘paddle’ celebrities there to help mark this milestone.
Parking will be at The National Beaulieu Motor Museum, where several activities are due to take place. To make the most out of your day some will need pre-booking, though there will be plenty to do and see on the day. Activities on the day will include: Canoeing tours, kayaking adventures, archery lessons, high ropes activities, cycle hire and for budding survivalists; fire lighting and shelter building. One is to win a family canoeing trip on the Beaulieu River and for the more adventurous, a Sea Kayaking day trip for two. Both competitions will run during March & April 2008. The new information centre will have computer terminals and a customer service area providing advice and guidance. There will plenty of stands to browse through and as well as a host of information on The New Forest as a whole, including a ‘What’s On’ board. The centre will also be selling a range of everyday outdoor essentials such as maps, waterproofs and torches.
Situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park, Liquid Logistics can offer everyone the opportunity to explore the Beaulieu River. One of the UK’ s most unique salt marsh environments; visitors will see an amazing array of wildlife and love the tranquillity of this fabulous river. Multi activity days can be booked locally for individuals, couples, businesses, management courses or even party events.
