Stationery is an important aspect of every Wedding, (I didn't realise there was so many!). The invitation is the first impression your guests will receive of your special day. Other aspects of stationery, such as the order of service, can be taken home as a keepsake. A happy Wedding guest is a well-informed one. Arm your guests with plenty of useful tips to make your wedding even more enjoyable. As well as details of the venue and time, your invitation should give guests other helpful information. You might like to let them know about local accommodation and travel. Many stationery designers will offer an ‘info sheet’ or you could easily put one together yourself, neatly folded and sent along with the invitation. We couldn’t decide whether to buy invitations, get them made or make them ourselves, well I’m not very creative so that option was out, we were going to have handmade ones when I found a gorgeous design in one of the stationary catalogues and the price difference was amazing. I think that maybe if we were going to have an order of service, place settings and menus as well it would have been nice to have hand made ones so that everything tied in together,(something to think about there!) The type of venue, setting and colour scheme or theme of your day can all have an influence on the design of stationery you choose. Your choice should reflect both your personalities and style of your wedding, which makes it very personal. It is also be the first insight your guests will have of the sort of day they can expect to be part of. Please see below for list of Premium Wedding Suppliers

TOP TIPS
Things to consider when ordering your wedding stationery and Favours: - 1. Order a minimum of 5 additional invites in case of guest list changes. 2. I know it sounds obvious but remember its not 1 invite per person but per COUPLE/FAMILY.
3. When ordering invitations, order at least 4 to 6 weeks before they’re scheduled to be mailed.
4. Send out reply cards with your invitations.
5. If your wedding’s going to actually be held on a beach or outdoor area, be sure that you let your guests know, so they can dress appropriately.
6. Think about having personalized envelopes or use labels so they look more professional.
7. Consider personalised hand made chocolates for your Favours - not as expensive as you may think. |
