Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died a week after a road traffic collision on the A337 at Lymington.
At around 10.15pm on Tuesday, August 18, a red Citroen ZX Aura collided with a traffic island on the approach to the Ampress Park roundabout.
The vehicle, which was heading towards Lymington, struck a bollard and came to rest against a lamp post.
Both the front-seat passenger, 91-year-old Vera Page, from Worcester Place, Lymington, and the 90-year-old man driving were injured.
They were taken to Southampton General Hospital for precautionary treatment because of their age.

The driver of a car that was involved in a collision on the A337 in Lymington last week has died.
Robert Page, 90, from Worcester Place, Lymington, died at Southampton General Hospital last night.
His wife, Vera Page, 91, who was a front seat passenger in the vehicle died earlier yesterday morning.
At around 10.15pm on Tuesday, August 18, their red Citreon ZX Aura was travelling towards Lymington when it collided with a traffic island on the approach to the Ampress Park roundabout.
The vehicle struck a bollard and came to rest against a lamp post.
Mrs Page’s condition later deteriorated and she died this morning (Tuesday, August 25). The exact cause of her death is still to be determined.
The driver has also deteriorated but remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Police are continuing their investigation into the collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw the vehicle driving prior to it.

Both Mr and Mrs Page were taken to Southampton General Hospital for precautionary treatment because of their age but their conditions later deteriorated.

“The exact cause of their deaths at this stage is yet to be determined.
“As part of our investigation into the collision, we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw the red Citreon driving prior to it.”
