SANTA AND HIS REINDEER VISIT RINGWOOD

Santa and his reindeer will once again be making their dramatic debut in Ringwood on Friday December 3rd at 6p.m. for the sensational Chamber of Commerce Christmas Reindeer Parade.

To welcome Santa many of the Ringwood shops will be staying open late and will be offering mince pies and mulled wine to the shoppers.

Parking Charges for council car parks in Ringwood will be suspended for the afternoon of Friday 3rd December 2010, the suspension will start at 12.00 noon. Waiting time restrictions may apply.

Santa will start his journey in the Market Place outside Letchers Solicitors. The Parade will once again be led by the Ringwood Pipe Band followed by the Forest Forge Theatre dressed as Vintage Ice skaters, plus charity collectors in seasonal costumes in aid of Help for Heroes.

There will be Mary and Joseph on donkeys with shepherds and wise men and there will be a traditional Christmas craft and food market with a children's fairground.

After the Parade, which is going around the town and returning to Letchers in the Market Place, children can meet Santa and pet his reindeer.

Santa can  also be visited in the Furlong in his Gingerbread House the next day from 10a.m. to 4p.m. and at weekends in December.

This year the Parade has been kindly supported by Letchers Solicitors, Waitrose, Ringwood Brewery, Hearnes Estate Agents, Martin & Co Letting Agents, Simply Beauty, Baby Blooming, Prod Grow Markets and David Lloyd Leisure.
