Police name motorcyclist who died in New Forest crash A motorcylist who died in a collision on Ringwood Road, Fritham has been named by police as Wilhelmus Van-Der-Heinden from Holland. The collision happened at about 6.40pm on Tuesday as Mr Van-Der-Heinden was travelling north from the A31, near the Oknell Caravan and Camping site, with two other riders. The 50-year-old, who was driving the lead motorcycle, was in collision with a green Honda CRV car travelling in the opposite direction as he entered a right-hand bend, approximately one mile from the A31. Mr Van-Der-Heinden sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 29-year-old driver of the car was treated for shock at the scene but did not require hospital treatment. The other two motorcyclists were not injured. Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the three Norton motorcycles prior to the collision to contact police.
