Police are issuing an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an attempted shed break in Adlams Lane, Sway between 9 and 9.30am on Tuesday, November 24.
A man was found in the grounds of a private property and escorted off the premises. A short time later the same man was seen to enter the grounds of another property and attempt to break into a shed using a crow bar.
The man realised he had been seen and ran away. Nothing was stolen from the shed although damage was caused to a padlock.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or recognises the man in the e-fit image is asked to contact PC Chris Barrow at New Milton police station on 101, or call Crimestoppers, the charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
