Police are appealing for information after a robbery at McColls convenience store, Milford Road, Pennington near Lymington between 9.20 and 9.35pm on Thursday, December 2.
A man and a woman entered the store. The man threatened two members of staff with a knife and demanded cash from the till and safe. The members of staff are a woman in her 40s and a man in his 20s.
Approximately £200 from the till and an unknown amount of cash from the safe was handed over.
The woman staff member sustained a small cut to her finger. Both members of staff have been left shaken by the incident.
The man with the knife is described as:
5ft 9ins to 6ft tall
Dressed in black with a hood and tights or something similar over his face
The woman offender is described as:
A lot shorter than the first offender
Dressed the same as the first offender
It is believed that two people were in the store just before the incident and may have seen the offenders.
Anyone with information about this incident, particularly the two people who were in the store before the robbery, is asked to contact CID at Lyndhurst police station on 101, or call Crimestoppers, the charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
