http://www.sammymiller.co.ukPhone: 01425 620777Welcome to the Sammy Miller Museum
Which many consider houses the finest collection of fully-restored motorcycles in Europe; many of them extremely rare.
Sammy Miller was awarded an MBE for Services to Motorcycle Heritage in the 2009 New Years Honours List.
We are now fully reopen 7 days a week, 10.00am to 4.30pm
Unlike most other museums, this is more than a static collection, to be dusted and polished at regular intervals and displayed like butterflies with pins through them. This is a live museum, for whenever the opportunity presents itself these machines are run in classic bike events of one kind or another. Many of the racing machines are still fully competitive and capable of giving a good account of themselves in high speed parades. Like any good museum, the contents are changing constantly.
Virtually every new aquisition represents a full-scale renovation, with the attendant difficulty in finding missing parts or replacements to exchange for those that are badly worn. New exhibits are being sought all the time, so if you know of anything that is worth rescuing, please let us know and we will follow it up.
Apart from the motorcycles on display you will also see many interesting artifacts, all of which represent a link with motorcycling of a by-gone era. Unfortunately they are too numerous to list individually, but wherever possible a display card has been provided as a means of identification.
If you have any suggestions for the improvement of the museum, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Time will not stand by as far as the museum itself is concerned and we would like you to come again, in the knowledge that there will always be something different to see. An all weather New Forest attraciton

Eling Tide Mill

The TollbridgeTottonSouthamptonHampshireSO4O 9HFPhone: 02380 869575VISIT ONE OF THE ONLY TIDE MILLS IN THE WORLD PRODUCING FLOUR DAILY IN A 900 YEAR OLD TRADITION
Eling Tide Mill is a water mill that harnesses the power of the tide to grind wheat into wholemeal flour.
Situated on the edge of Southampton Water beside the renowned New Forest, there has been a mill on the site for over 900 years.
It was abandoned in the 1940s, but had the good fortune to survive until it was restored between 1975 and 1980, at which time it re-opened as both a working mill, and a museum to this part of our industrial heritage. It is the one of the only fully working and productive tide mill in the United Kingdom producing flour as it had throughout the last Millennium and one of only a handful of mills in the entire world producing flour on a regular basis. An interesting New Forest attraction

http://www.newforestwildllifepark.co.ukPhone: 023 8029 2408The New Forest Wildlife Park covers twenty-five scenic acres of ancient woodland. It is set within the New Forest Heritage area, designated a National Park in 2005.
A wander in our Park will reveal a wonderful range of wildlife - in natural surroundings. Here we have 3 species Eurasian (indigenous to Uk) Asian Short Claw and North American
River otter; European wolf, 12 species of owls, badgers, foxes and deer. Other mammals to be seen are polecats, mink, pine martens and highly endangered Scottish wildcat, lynx, wallaby and wild boar.
You can stroll through the animal house...to enjoy watching otters swimming underwater, ferrets chasing their tails, harvest mice home-making on top of corn stalks...or the night barn for snoring badgers and red foxes.
Children and adults alike will love this New Forest attraditon.
Then try the Wildlife Walkabout: passing more otters on the way to the see the owls in their Owlery...where tame fallow and sika deer graze, keenly observed by pine marten and wildcats.
As you leave the red deer meadow, via a boardwalk, you may spot Grishkin the lynx - relaxing at home - high in the fir trees. As you make your way down to visit the family of wild boar, and on past our new Eurasian wolf enclosure, treading gently to encourage our wallabies to cross your path.
Open every day!
Pop in to the Woodland Bakehouse Tearoom for a super choice of tasty meals and light refreshments. You’ll also find an excellent selection of gift and souvenir ideas (wildlife- themed of course) in our Giftshop.

http://www.breamorehouse.comPhone: 01725 512468I am delighted to welcome you to Breamore House which is my family’s home, and in fact has been home to nine generations of my family.
Set in its own beautiful parkland amid surrounding farms and fields, the grandeur and magnificence of the house has changed little over the past 400 years.
The Elizabethan Manor House and Countryside Museum are open for visitors from April until the end of September.
Breamore House is also available as a reception venue for weddings and private parties and as a unique filming location.
I hope you enjoy your visit.
Michael Hulse.
