Be there at the discovery with Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon, and share in their excitement. Explore the ante-chamber filled with treasures including golden animal couches, the sentinel figures of Tutankhamun, the golden throne and the memorial shrine. All the senses are excited even that of smell with the heavy but pleasant odors of fragrant woods, oils and ointments. Enter the burial chamber to witness Howard Carter raising the golden coffins. In the Hall of Treasures marvel at the superb facsimiles of some of Tutankhamun's greatest golden treasures, including the famous golden funerary mask and the Harpooner. Finally come face to face with Tutankhamun's mummified body. Featured in many major television documentaries, The Tutankhamun Exhibition has recreated Tutankhamun's tomb, treasures, and mummified body using sight, sound and smell.
